President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the government will introduce new auto policy with the consultation of all stakeholders.
Addressing Pakistan Auto Show in Karachi on Friday, he said car manufacturing industry was trying hard to fulfill consumers need. The president said a stable and trustworthy auto policy would not only provide quality products on affordable prices, but also help achieve positive production results.
He said the auto sector contributed significantly to the economy of the country in terms of taxes, duties and employment creation. Mamnoon Hussain called upon the local automotive industry to offer more choices and quality products to consumers at the affordable prices.
He assured that the government was working to provide the required support to the auto industry through adequate policy measures.
