The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday launched a hunt for MPAs who voted for the PPP’s candidate in Thursday’s Senate elections.
Despite a clean sweep in Punjab, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered a probe into additional votes secured by PPP’s Nadeem Afzal Chan in the province.
According to reports, mobile phone record will be used to trace the dissenters. PML-N has suspicions about some members of the South Punjab and Rawalpindi Division, sources said.
Nadeem Afzal Chan secured seven additional votes with support from some PML-N lawmakers.
