There are strong historical, cultural and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and the ties between the two countries will further strengthen due to the visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif while talking to journalist the the Allama Iqbal International Airport after he returned to Lahore from Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
The chief minister said that the historic welcome extended to Pakistani delegation by Khadim-e-Haramain Sharifain Shah Salman bin Abdulaziz will always be remembered. He said that people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are bound together in strong ties of love and brotherhood.
The chief minister further said that the rousing welcome given to the Pakistani prime minister by Shah Salman bin Abdulaziz at the airport fully reflects the warm relations between the two countries.
He said that Saudi Arabia has extended invaluable cooperation for the progress and development of Pakistan and helped it in every hour of need.
He said that Saudi Arabia is a true friend of Pakistan and supported it in every crisis. He said that the people of the two countries are also closely affiliated with each other.
He said that the hearts of the people of the both countries beat together. He said that the leadership and people of Pakistan highly appreciate the cooperation of the Saudi king and people which is an asset for Pakistan.
