An attempt to smuggle heroin by concealing it in a ‘Nan’ (bread) into Camp Jail by a visitor Farzana Saleem was foiled by the jail authorities.
Superintendent Camp Jail Shahram Taqueer Khan said on Thursday that the staff concerned found 3 small packets of heroin concealed in “Naan” (bread) during checking.
The contraband was to be delivered to an under-trial prisoner Kashif Saleem accused in narcotics case.
