It is indeed disappointing to see the plight of the private schools of Pakistan. These schools apparently aim to impart quality education using state of the art facilities to the students with sheer hard work, effort and determination. The reality, nonetheless is contrary. The private schools have more or less emerged as commercial or profit maximising entities. They aim to generate maximum revenue from the students’ fees neglecting the quality of education imparted to the students. It is clearly evident that the standard of education delivered at the private schools is gradually dwindling.
Many renowned schools such as Lahore Grammar School, Beaconhouse School System, Aitchison School, Froebel’s, Karachi Grammar School, City School and others are currently characterised by low quality of educational services. The administrative and the managerial staff managing and running the schools lack expertise and specialised skills required for attaining the maximum performance outcomes from the students and the teachers. There is a dearth of intellectual and cognitive faculties essential for delivering top of the class quality education amongst the managerial and administrative staff of the private schools. This impedes the creation of an effective and balanced educational platform; which can prepare and nurture disciplined, mature, refined and cultivated individuals for tomorrow.
The academic quality imparted at the private schools at present is devoid of all such premium aspects, which existed years ago. The decline in the quality is attributed to many factors; the prominent being lack of skilled teaching and managerial staff recruited at the private schools. These factors result in low academic quality imparted at the private schools of Pakistan.
Considering such adverse situation, there is a dire need for the ministry of education to take notice of the private schools of Pakistan for improving their educational standards.

Criticism for the sake of criticism. The private schools mrntiined in this narrative are the best schools.Parents prefer to send their children to these Private schools. The private enterprise has done wonders in the field of edycation. They are better managed, staffed, and provide moden facilities. We must appreciate their good work, and dedication.
very well stated facts, i would second Ayza Javed for the true picture reflected to awake sleeping authorities. This is a shaming truth that our so called top school systems are turning into highly commercial business houses, promoting snobbish western culture. To an utter surprise, There is no room for healthy criticism with the management and in absence of any check and balance by the government, poor parents are forced to follow the rules devised by blood sucking moth like owners of these school systems. FYI, In an in-vain thought provoking effort to move the sitting CM Punjab, i even wrote a letter to point out this heinous crime in the name of good education but alas …..
Today, having read this interesting letter by Ayza, i am putting up an advise for the interest of my fellowmen, by referring a good school system in Lahore owned by a very humane personality, Mr. Ahsen Raza. who also owns LRBT trust ( famous free eye hospital in lahore). I would request humbly the government of Punjab to follow this man’s style of education system, that inculcates DISCIPLINE, PATRIOTISM, GUARANTEED EDUCATED CHILD & on top of anything SUPERB results, better than any elite school in Pakistan.
