The police arrested at least four suspects, including one injured, during an operation in various areas of the city on Monday.
According to Senior Superintendant Police (SSP) Clifton, the injured suspect was involved in various street crimes and was detained after police shootout in Darakhshan area of Defence.
Meanwhile, police also apprehended as many as three suspects from Industrial area of Korangi during a search operation and confiscated weapons and drugs from their possession.
On the other hand, a security guard was shot down by unidentified miscreants while resisting a robbery attempt in Jamshed Quarters whereas gun attack in Korangi No.2 also claimed a life of a person.
