Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) would organize a youth drama festival 2015 from Monday at PNCA Auditorium.
During week-long drama festival 2015 a number of educational institutions would presents their stage plays.
The first stage play “Jaman Ka Per” by Nust Business School would be staged on March 2, “Ibtida-e-Ishq” by COMSATS on March 3, “Dyota” by Preston University on March 4, “MeriKahani” by Quaid-e- Azam University on March 5, “Jaray Ki Dastan” by Fatima Jinnah Women’s University on March 6, “GuriaKaGhar” by National University of Science & Technology (NUST) on March 7 and stage play “Khawab” by Bahria University would be staged on March 8 at PNCA Auditorium, Islamabad.
The week-long youth drama festival is part of PNCA’s activities to introduce the trend of theater in the twin cities and promote the concept of thoughtful theater.
The stage plays will play an important role in highlighting and resolving social issues with correction of society through humor, thoughtful and artistic expressions, said an official of PNCA.
He said that stage drama is a strong medium of education which plays an important role in transforming the societies with reflection and identification of social evils.
