Two killed in Karachi violence

Two persons were killed in different violent incidents on Thursday.

A man, Saddar Mohammad, 45, son of Fateh Mohmmad, resident of Bilal Colony, was killed in an unidentified mob attack in his residential area. The body was brought to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre for the autopsy.

In another incident, a man, Bashir, 40, son of Majeed, resident of Manghopir, was gunned down by unidentified armed men near German School in Orangi Town. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Yet in another incident, a man, Umer Gul, 35, son of Shams Tabreez, was found dead near Gulzar Masjid. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities. The motive behind killing could not be ascertained yet.

Meanwhile, the one-year-old unknown body of a man was found in the Malir area. Rescue sources informed that he was killed by his son who was arrested by law enforcement agency. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

A man, Shahbaz, 45, was shot and injured by bandits during robbery resistance in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) phase II. The injured was rushed to JPMC for treatment.

Furthermore, two persons, Dawood, 25, son of Aslam, and Zakir, 28, son of Ghulam Rasool, were shot and injured by unknown armed men near Sajjan Goth in Baldia town. The injured were shifted to CHK for treatment.
