In a conversation between Saeed Ajmal and Abdul Qadir on a news channel, Abdul Qadir said that Pakistan direly needs the services of Saeed Ajmal.
He further added that even if Ajmal bowls with a fold on his eyes, he would fare better than the current bowlers in the Pakistani lineup.
The former test cricketer said that had Ajmal been a part of the Pakistan squad, Indian players would have found hard to pile runs against the bowling side.
He said that Saeed Ajmal should declare his participation in the World Cup at this instance and should he do so, the whole nation will support him.
Saeed Ajmal responded by saying that he is ready to play his part in the World Cup.
style=’font-size:16.0pt;line-height:115%; font-family:”Times New Roman”,”serif”‘>The report came just a day after a third suspect was detained for involvement in the murder of Abeera.
Abeera, 20, had shifted to Lahore from Sialkot to study at a private university. Initially, she lived with her maternal uncle but later she moved to a girl’s hostel on Wahdat Road.
As per the post-mortem report, no torture marks were found on the 20-year-old’s body and the cause of her death was found to be suffocation. The autopsy report also reveals that the victim’s body was kept in a freezer before it was stuffed in a bag due to which it became stiff.
“No fingerprints were found on her hands and arms,” the report said, as police sources said that other body parts would be sent for forensic testing.
However, contrary to the report, Investigation SP Iqbal Town Ejaz Shafi Dogar said that apparently Abeera’s death was caused by excessive use of some intoxicants.
