Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says the government will utilise maximum resources to improve the standards of education.
Addressing the 3rd Islamic Universities Voice chancellor’s conference in Islamabad on Monday, he pointed out that providing quality and contemporary education to the youth is imperative to put the country on the path of sustainable development.
Later, Higher Education Commission Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmed said efforts are afoot to improve the standard of higher education. For this purpose, each year hundreds of scholarships are being given to the students on merit. He said the ranking of our universities have also enhanced in the outside world due to our efforts.
