Pakistan People’s Party leader Rehman Malik called on Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday and handed over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s letter to him regarding the draft of the political jirga’s proposals.
Malik later told reporters that the government would respond to the PTI’s letter within three days. He said that the government has appreciated the role of the political jirga, adding that the jirga members would meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after Sirajul Haq’s return from Saudi Arabia.
