Police have arrested two persons in connection with the murder of a female student of University of the Punjab (PU) who was allegedly shot dead at her friend’s home on Sunday.
Sources said that Anam, a PU student became friend with Sajid, a lawyer residing in Sundar area of the city via internet. She on invitation from Sajid visited his residence.
As per reports during visit, the house maid Sanam allegedly exchanged hot words with Anam after which she shot and killed her on the spot.
Police arrested both Sajid and Sanam and after registering a case against them started the investigation.
