A woman reportedly gunned down her husband and three daughters in Sector G-6 of the federal capital on Saturday before pulling the trigger on herself over a family dispute.
Police officials said that Shahida Kausar had a heated argument with her husband Farooq Khattak on the breakfast table just before the family was about to leave for their regular morning walk. They said that Shahida pulled out a pistol and opened fire on Farooq and her daughters Rani, Iza and Rahila, killing them instantly. The couple’s 10-year-old son survived his mother’s rage but was shot in the arm.
Police sources said that according to the child, his parents used to fight almost every day and were also in the middle of divorce.
