The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) yet again brings forth an extraordinary display of Pakistan’s largest collection of export merchandise and services at its biggest trade fair set to date. The TDAP has always been an illustrious platform that manages to attract maximum of foreign buyers, traders and developers from across the globe and this time around, it promises to be bigger and better.
The TDAP initially started off as a medium used for developing and promoting export holistically, through focus, synergy, and with collective wisdom and counsel of its stakeholders. It grew through interaction and coordination with respective public and private – sector stakeholders, and enhancing value of products and services by broadening the export base. They strived to help improve market access through advising the government on matters of trade diplomacy and by promoting the “business” image of Pakistan in the key export markets for Pakistani products and services, world over.
In succession of their annually held four-day event, Expo Pakistan TDAP has developed this as their primary sourcing point for a large number of businesses worldwide, giving them a head start on the buying and ordering for coming seasons. A practice that has been going on since 2005, reached its astounding success last year when Expo Pakistan Exhibition and Fashion Show (2013) managed to be the center of attention of large number of local and foreign buyers and solely generated an estimated business of US $ 1 billion as compared to deals estimated at US $ 690 million, the year before.
Now organising its 9th Expo Pakistan in the heart of Pakistan’s commercial capital, Karachi, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) aspires to raise the roof and bring maximum amount of business to Pakistan.
