AN army major and five militants were killed in an exchange of fire during an army operation in North Waziristan Agency on Friday.
Security forces conducted an operation in Datta Khel in which the terrorists and Major Zahid Iqbal were killed. Iqbal was commissioned in the Pakistan Army in 1999 and leaves behind two sons.
