Majority agree over PML-N’s ‘stagnancy’

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 58 per cent of Pakistanis said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government’s performance is worse or no different from previous governments; 41 per cent disagree.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “Some people think that PML-N performance until now has been better than the past government whereas some people think that it is worse. What do you think about this?”

In response to this question, 41 per cent respondents said the PML-N government’s performance has been better than previous governments, 26 per cent respondents said it has been worse, while 32 per cent think it is no different and 1 per cent did not respond.

Question: “Some people think that PML-N performance until now has been better than the past government whereas some people think that it is worse. What do you think about this?”

Source of Gilani Research Foundation Poll was field work conducted by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International Association. The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.

The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1,374 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during January 26 to February 2, 2015. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95 per cent confidence level.
