The Punjab government has set up an Oversees Pakistanis Commission to resolve problems being faced by the Pakistani expatriates.
This was stated by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif while talking to the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Pir Syed Sadruddin Rashidi on Thursday.
The chief minister said that the commission had been awarded constitutional and legal status to make it effective in resolving problems of the overseas Pakistanis.
US Counsel General in Lahore Zachary Harkenrider also called on the chief minister to discuss matters of mutual interest.
