Maximum resources are being diverted to make the Counter Terrorism Force (CTF) a complete success, said Punjab Home Minister Colonel (r) Shuja Khanzada on Wednesday.

“We have devised a comprehensive strategy to frustrate nefarious designs of terrorists in future,” Khanzada said.

He said that the country was confronting with worst type of terrorism and Police Lines blast was reaction of Operation Zarb-e-Azb in Waziristan. He said the government had waged a crusade against terrorists and it would be won at all cost. He said that anti-Pakistan elements who did not want to see the country grow economically healthier and strong had bent upon to weaken it.

“We will inflict a crushing defeat to the enemies of Pakistan and provide the people a peaceful homeland,” Shuja added.

He said that terrorists could not shake government’s resolve to win war against terrorism. He said that hundreds of innocent people had lost lives in terrorist attacks across the country.

He said that security all over the province had been tightened further. He asked the people to keep an eye on dubious persons and immediately inform nearby police if they sport any suspect with mysterious movement.

The minister said that Shahbaz Sharif-led provincial government was actively pursuing the National Action Plan. He said that the chief minister had already sought report regarding Police Lines bomb blast.
