One child died and two others sustained injuries in a gas explosion in Chaklala on Tuesday.
According to police sources, gas leakage became the cause of explosion and claimed the life of one minor in Chaklala.
On getting the information regarding the incident, police along with rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to the hospital.
Meanwhile, a shoe factory near Peer Wadhai caught fire and destroyed goods worth million of rupees. The fire was extinguished by the fire brigade staff after the struggle of one hour.
