Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of injury to a 30-year-old person due to kite string in Walton area of the city and sought a report from authorities concerned. He directed that strict implementation of the ban on kite flying in the provincial capital as well as other areas of the province should be ensured and indiscriminate action be taken against the violators.
He said that kite flying will not be tolerated and police and administration should perform its responsibilities efficiently in this regard and action be taken against the elements involved in the business. The chief minister directed that best treatment facilities be provided to the injured person.
