An earthquake of mild intensity jolted different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday morning.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department the intensity of the tremor was recorded at 5.2 on the Richter scale. The jots of the quake were felt in Mansehra, Battagram, Swat, Chitra, Malakand and adjacent areas.
People came out of their homes in fear reciting verses from the Holy Quran. The epicentre of the quake was reported on the borders between Afghanistan and Tajikistan. There has been no report of any loss to life or property.
