Three persons were killed and four others injured in separate incidents of violence in the city on Saturday.
A man, Irfan Ali, 40, son of Shahid, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Sector 10, OrangiTown. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem examination.
The body of a man, Syed Shabbir Ali, 35, son of Ali Shah, was found strangulated at his house near Muhammadi Market in Saudi Colony, Khokhrapar. It was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
An unidentified man, aged 35, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen near Faqeera Goth in Maymar Industrial Area. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy.
A youth, Rehan, 24, son of Faiz, was injured by knife attack in Gulshan-e-Bihar, OrangiTown. He was rushed to ASH for medical treatment.
Two men, Anil, 23, son of Shams and Tariq, 37, son of Majeed, were injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on them in Bhense Colony, SurjaniTown. Both the injured were taken to ASH for medical treatment.
An old man, Shahid, 56, son of Muhammed Khan, was shot injured by unidentified assailants near Farooq-e-Azam Mosque in North Nazimabad. The injured was rushed to ASH for treatment.

A youth, Fahim, 20, son of Aleem, was killed when a speedy vehicle hit him near Sabri Mosque at 19-D bus stop in BaldiaTown. The body was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi for post-mortem examination.
An unidentified man, aged 45, was trampled to death under a speedy train near Natha Khan rail crossing. The body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
A man, Ajmal, 35, was killed on Road No 9 in Bhense Colony. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.
An unidentified drug addict, aged 40, was found dead near Bashir Chowk in North Karachi. The body was taken to Sohrab Goth mortuary.
