Our late Qauid on a query from Mr Cowasji’s father remarked that every next government of Pakistan would be more corrupt than the previous one. How right he was! He knew them all. The NYT wrote his obituary in these words:”It is not clear who will replace him or indeed if he can be replaced.” And that says it all.
