Amidst reports of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Pir Sabir Shah’s resignation following his disagreement with the party over the distribution of Senate tickets, it was reported Thursday that the PML-N leadership had successfully appeased the disgruntled leader.
There were conflicting reports over Shah’s resignation, who reportedly told journalists earlier that he was resigning from the party office because die-hard workers of the party had been ignored by the party leadership for the upcoming Senate polls.
However, the official APP news service reported Shah as saying that he had no differences with the party leadership over Senate tickets and was even willing to become a covering candidate for Lt Gen (r) Salahuddin Tirmizi.
