A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) challenging the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report for not submitting a challan against Rana Sanaullah and Abid Sher Ali in the murder case of a PTI activist from Faisalabad.
Atta Muhammad, brother of murdered Haq Nawaz, filed an application in the LHC saying that his brother was killed on December 8, 2014, after he was fired at by PML-N activists.
Rana Sanullah and Abid Sher Ali were nominated in the FIR but the JIT report did not mention either of the two high-profile personalities in the report, and no challan was presented against them.
He prayed the court to reinvestigate the incident by dismissing the previous report.
