Japan provides Rs 5.1m for 25 primary schools in Hyderabad

The government of Japan extended a grant of US$51,215 (approximately Rs.5.1 million) to Sindh Development Society for “The Project for the Provision of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Facilities for 25 Primary Schools in Hyderabad” under its Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) scheme.

The grant contract was signed on February 12, 2015 at the Japan Information and Culture Center of the Consulate-General of Japan in Karachi, between Akira Ouchi, Consul General of Japan in Karachi and Ghaffar Malik, Executive Director of Sindh Development Society.
