TIRAH VALLEY-
Latest airstrikes by Pakistan Military jets in Khyber Agency’s Tirah Valley killed at least seven militant suspects and injured 15 others in an early morning operation on Thursday.
Militant hideouts were also destroyed in the attack.
On Monday, military jets pounded terrorist dens in the same area, killing 12 suspected militants.
Khyber Agency is one of seven tribal regions near the Afghan border where local and foreign militants had long enjoyed safe haven. A military operation, Khyber One, launched in October last year continues to target militants in the area. A parallel offensive, Operation Zarb-e-Azb is taking place in the neighbouring North Waziristan.
