ISLAMABAD.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is expected today (Thursday) on a two-day visit to Pakistan to hold mutual talks, promote economic and trade cooperation and discuss the overall regional situation.
The Chinese Foreign Minister, leading an eight-member delegation, will hold talks with Sartaj Aziz, Advisor to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs.
During the talks all aspects of the bilateral relationship, with a special focus on political, strategic and economic cooperation would be reviewed and consolidated.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad would also co-host the launching ceremony of Pakistan-China “Year of Friendly Exchanges” during this visit, said sources.
