A PPP leader was among four persons that were killed, while two others were injured, in separate violent incidents here on Monday.
A local leader from Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) PS 118 chapter, Ahsan Danish, was gunned down by unknown armed men near Aziz Bhatti Park in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities. The motive behind the killing has not been ascertained yet.
In another incident, a man, Khursheed, 33, son of Mohammad Insari, was gunned down by unidentified armed men near Bhittai Colony in the Korangi Crossing area. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy. The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained.
