Seven, including two women, killed in violence

As many as seven persons, including two women, were killed in separate incidents of violence on Sunday.

Two persons, Zubair, 25, son of Hanif, and Akbar, 20, son of Ghulam Muhammad, were gunned down by unknown armed men in Moach Goth. They were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities. The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained yet.

In another incident, two persons Haji Ismail, 60, and his son Muhammad Saleem, were killed by unknown armed men near Babar Kanta in Bhains colony. Both were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for autopsies. The motive behind killing could not be ascertained yet.

Yet in another incident, a woman, Iram, wife of Abid Hussain, was found dead near Zia colony in SITE area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital Karachi (ASH) for medico-legal formalities. The motive behind killing could not be ascertained yet.

Separately, an unidentified man, aged about 25-year, was killed by unknown armed men in Lyari. The body was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities. The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained yet. Meanwhile, a woman, Shaheen, wife of Zahoor, was killed by unknown armed men near Nusrat Bhutto colony in Sakkhi Hassan area. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities. The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained yet.
