LAHORE-
Former hockey Olympian Zahid Sahrif was arrested at Lahore airport Sunday by Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) for allegedly smuggling drugs, reports said.
Shareef, working at the Lahore International Airport as shift station manager, was held by ANF along with a passenger carrying a bag loaded with narcotics.
Both of the accused have been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
Shareef played for Pakistan hockey team during 1987 to 1991.
