26 cases of terrorist recommended for trial

As many as 26 cases of terrorism have been recommended by the respective senior superintendent of police of the concerned district through the deputy inspector general of police (DIGP), Larkana range, for trial by the proposed military courts which are yet to be established.

Out of these 26 cases, seven belong to Larkana district, five to Kambar-Shahdadkot district, two to Shikarpur district, six to Jacobabad district and six to Kashmore Kandhkot district. These cases were registered at various police stations of Larkana division and pertain to heinous crimes including kidnapping for ransom, murder, killing and attacking police parties and blasts on railway tracks by using explosive material.

The cases refereed to trial include FIR No 37/2012, 92/2012 and 172/2014 of Waleed police station, 20/2010 of Badah PS,149/2013 of Ratodero PS, 24/2014 & 34/2014 of Market PS of Larkana district, FIR No 12/2008 of Imam Bux Jamali PS, 233/2010 of Kambar PS, 59/2012 of Gaji Khuhawar PS, 30/2013 of Khabbar PS and 87/2014 of Warah PS of Kambar-Shahdadkot district, FIR No 159/2014 of Khampur PS and 85/2013 of New Faujdari PS of Shikarpur district, FIR No 144/2012 of Thul PS, 05/2013 of Abad PS, 06/2014, 25/2014, 95/2014 and 123/2014 of Thul A Section PS of Jacobabad district, FIR No 47/2009, 39/2014, 40/2014, 51/2014, 95/2014 of A Section Kandhkot PS under explosive Act and 4/2014 of RD 109 PS of Kashmore district.

Most of these FIRs have been challaned in the ATC courts along with arrested accused who are facing trial but a number of nominated accused are still at large.
