Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is expected to arrive in Pakistan on Feb 17 for a two-day official visit.
Official sources said that during his first ever visit to Pakistan since taking office in August last year, the Turkish premier will be meeting with Pakistan’s political and military leadership.
” Davutoglu will lead Turkey in the Pakistan-Turkey strategic dialogue, which will also take place on Feb 17 in Islamabad,” the source said.
The Turkish premier is also expected to meet President Mamnoon Hussain who will later host a banquet in his honour.
Last month, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Cemil Cecik agreed to enhance interaction between parliamentarians of the two countries and share their legislative experiences.
The agreement was reached during a meeting that took place on the sidelines of the 10th session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation member states (PUIC) in Istanbul.
