Rangers report says political party involved in Baldia Town factory fire that killed 259

KARACHI-

A report submitted to to the Sindh High Court (SHC) by Rangers on the Baldia factory fire revealed that the fire, that killed over 250 people in 2012, was a deliberate act by members of a political party.

259 people were burnt to death on September 11, 2012 in an inferno in a garment factory ‘Ali Enterprises’ in Karachi’s Baldia Town.

The report, submitted to a two-member SHC bench headed by Chief Justice Maqbool Baqir on Friday, stated that political party member had admitted setting the factory on fire with his accomplices. He is under arrest by Rangers.

The court has been requested to keep the report findings secret.

The court issued orders to distribute compensation among the affected families of the victims and submit a report in this regard in seven days.

  1. this is all in seven days few notes would be given to family members f the victims that's all… we will never see any punishment to the accused person as he belongs from a political party… great political leaders fly with killing 289 people….in the great country
