Eleven members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly belonging to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have formed a “likeminded group” within the party’s provincial chapter.
According to details, PTI lawmakers Qurban Ali and Mehmood Jan alleged that Adviser on Jails Malik Qasim and Senior Minister from the Awami Jamhoori Ittehad Shahram Tarkai had flouted merit during recruitments in the jail department and Class 4 employees, respectively, which according to them was done despite a ban on such recruitments.
