After 24 hours ultimatum by the Supreme Court (SC), Capital Development Authority (CDA) has started contacting foreign embassies, ministries and police lines for commencing its operation against illegal barriers/blockades around the federal capital.
According to CDA’s spokesman, the SC passed orders to remove all illegal barriers in 24 hours. In view of this the authority has immediately started contacting different stakeholders for pursuing the operation.
Operation report is to be submitted in SC on Monday whereas sources inside CDA expressed its concerns that if barriers/blockades placed outside different foreign embassies are removed, it can affect relations with different countries.
