UNICEF expresses solidarity with APS victims

A moment of silence was observed on the first day of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Executive Board meeting at the United Nations (UN) in memory of, and in solidarity with, the victims of December 16, 2014, terrorists attack on a Peshawar school.

The silence was observed on the request of Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to UN and President of UNICEF Executive Board Ambassador Masood Khan.

Presiding over the meeting, Khan said that the dastardly attack killed 134 children in a school in Peshawar traumatized the nation and the entire world and galvanized Pakistan to take action to save children from savagery and brutality.
