The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday ordered suspension of two station house officers (SHOs) of Karachi for allegedly killing a teenager in a fake encounter.
The SC Karachi Registry ordered to suspend SHOs at Sohrab Goth and Sachal police station, Shoaib Siddiqui and Ismail Lashari, for killing a 17-year-old man Anis in an alleged encounter.
The court further ordered no new SHO should be appointed without the court’s earlier permission.
The court also ordered to submit complete investigation report about involvement of both these SHOs in fifteen days.
Meanwhile, father of the slain young man said that the police demanded 0.5 million for his release. He further said that he gave them Rs 50,000.
