Six ‘terrorists’ arrested in Islamabad

The security forces have arrested the six terrorists linked to banned outfit during search operation in several parts of Islamabad.

All terrorists have been shifted to undisclosed location for the investigation. Sources told that security forces have stepped up operations to implement the National Action Plan against terrorism.

Intelligence agencies have launched the search operation in most parts of federal capital to arrest suspects.

Sources further told that all arrested suspects were belong to banned outfit Mohmand Agency and which were planned to spread terror related activities in Islamabad.

Separately, Islamabad Police arrested 10 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered two 30 bore illicit pistols along with ammunition and looted items recovered from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, Industrial Area police arrested accused Muhammad Waseem involved in street crime.

Sihala police arrested two accused Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Shahzad involved in dacoity and recovered 2 illicit pistols along with ammunition from their possession.

Tarnol police arrested a drug peddlers namely Waqas and recovered 160 gram heroine from him. Secretariat Police arrested accused Usma used fake number plate on car. Bharakau police arrested five person involved in immoral activities. They were identified as Shoaib, Ehsan, Toqeer, Mohsin and lady accused Ansa Shabbir . Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.

SSP Islamabad has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to accelerate their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements.
