The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Altaf Hussain said that MQM would spread the network of schools and colleges throughout Sindh as it did in the past.
Talking to the members of the Coordination Committee and office bearers from various wings at Nine-Zero, MQM Chief congratulated all the participants for the creation of the Altaf Hussain University, Hyderabad. He said that the people of Hyderabad had a long lasting desire to have a university within the city limit and ultimately the university was going to be developed as per their wish.
Hussain felicitated the people of Hyderabad and said that it was also his dream to build a university in their city to cater to the need of the people. He said that he was optimistic about the students’ response towards the new university in Hyderabad.
He appreciated Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan and Chief of Bahrain Town Malik Riaz for realising the dream for building new universities in Hyderabad and Karachi. He said that he had been struggling to provide quality education with easy access to the 98 per cent of people that belong to the unprivileged class.
