Dar reaches Dubai to lead Pak-IMF talks for $ 550m tranche

Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar arrived in Dubai to head the Pakistan’s team at the Pakistan-International Monetary Fund (IMF) talks for the release of next tranche of $ 550 million.

A team of officials from ministries of finance, water and power and petroleum reached Dubai ahead of finance minister for necessary preparations and undertaking preliminaries.

Initial talks at the technical level have already been held and the policy level talks began on Monday which would continue for the next three days.

The head of IMF Review Mission Jaffrey Frank and Finance Minister Dar would hold a joint press conference after conclusion of the talks giving details about proceedings of the parleys.
