Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (r) Sardar Raza Khan on Tuesday directed all election tribunals to expedite the pending cases at the earliest.
According to details, the CEC has written a letter to the election tribunals stating that the pending cases must be settled without further ado, adding that the ones who would be responsible for dragging the cases would be held guilty.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan had met CEC on Monday and had requested him to expedite the pending cases.
