A one-day anti-polio drive to administer polio drops to the children below the age of five was launched in Peshawar on Sunday.
According to sources, 4,263 teams have been arranged to administer polio drops to at least 754,000 children in 97 union councils (UCs).
Moreover, the administration has ensured the security of polio workers by deploying 4,000 police officials whereas Section-144 has also been imposed to ban pillion riding in the metropolis.
