President believes the boots are marching well

President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb is continuing successfully to bring peace in the country, which is essential for economic progress and prosperity.

Addressing the annual ambassadors’ dinner by Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) in Islamabad, the president said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb has been launched to eliminate terrorism and establish lasting peace in the country.

The president said that the ongoing crackdown backed by the civil and military forces has been a proof of the nation’s commitment to end this scourge once and for all. He described peaceful Pakistan essential for a peaceful South Asia. He said Pakistan offers one of the most open investment regimes in the world and all possible efforts are being made to invite and encourage foreign investors.

The president hoped that the foreign envoys will play a supporting role for expanded trade relations between Pakistan and their respective countries. He said the government is trying to address the multiple energy-related issues on priority and encourages foreign investors. He said Pak-China economic corridor will ensure economic revival of the country and create thousands of employment opportunities for the people.

The president said elimination of corruption is also on top of our national agenda.
