Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the killing of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) worker Suhail Ahmed and ordered an immediate probe into the incident.
The prime minister spoke with MQM leader Babar Ghauri on the telephone and assured him that the government would sternly deal with those involved in the extra-judicial killing of political workers.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has also summoned reports from the Director General (DG) Rangers and Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh over the murder.
