ISLAMABAD-
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said Wednesday that Pakistan wants better relations with all neighboring countries, including India.
Pakistan High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit called on the PM in Islamabad today and briefed him about the current status of Pakistan-India relations.
The premier also said that India is an important neighbor and that Pakistan wants better relations with India on the basis of mutual respect and sovereign equality.
The premier further said that it is important for both Indian and Pakistan to resolve all their outstanding issues, including Jammu and Kashmir, in order to have durable peace and security in the region.
“Resolution of Kashmir issue is very necessary for better relationship between the countries and peace in the region”, the PM added.
The standard pathetic statement will evoke a standard stern reply. No nation in the world will sacrifice it's military advantage to appease a neighbour be it be Kashmir or Siachin. I wonder if the Kashmiris in the indian administered area would opt for Pakistan at the moment. If i am not mistaken was lt not Nawaz who wanted to unllaterally withdraw troops from Siachin. It was music to the indian ears.
Mutual Respect ? India has no respect for terrorists and those states that shelter, give aid and fund terrorists.
