A group of 25-30 militants stormed a checkpost of the Balochistan Levies in Qila Saifullah on Wednesday and fled with rifles and motorcycles.
“Five personnel inside the checkpost were encircled by the militants. They seized five official rifles, three motorbikes, five bulletproof jackets and a walkie-talkie and fled,” said a police official, adding that the militants fled towards the mountainous areas of Murghagebzai in Zhob district, which shares a border with Waziristan, Afghanistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
