A message from Imran Khan is being aired on different channels these days regarding the construction and completion of Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital, Peshawar. The hospital is under construction and Rs1 billion is required in the current month so that this project could be started by the end of this year. This hospital will increase the healthcare standards of the whole region and patients from KP province will no longer bear the hardships of long distance travelling to Lahore as they will receive treatment facilities right there. This also will result in reducing the burden of patients for SKMCH, Lahore which means there will be space for more patients coming to Lahore hospital. We all should gear up and participate in the success of this project by donating more and more for this great humanitarian cause.
