A high-level delegation of the Afghan Border Police (ABP) led by its Commander Lieutenant General Shafiq Fazli visited the General Headquarters here on Monday and met Chief of General Staff (CGS) Lieutenant General Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmad.
Matters related to border security and measures to enhance the existing border coordination mechanism were discussed. The visit of the Afghan delegation is a sequel to a series of meetings planned on both sides of the border after the recent visits made by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif to Afghanistan and his meetings with senior Afghan civil and military leaders.
These visits are aimed at boosting military-to-military cooperation between the two armies.
