45 suspects arrested during search operation

Islamabad Police arrested 45 suspects during search operations in various areas of the city, a police spokesman said.

He said that IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan directed all SDPOs and SHOs to enhance patrolling as well as checking in various areas of the city and conduct search operations in slum areas, Afghan habitats, under construction buildings, workshops, bus stands and inns.

Following his directions, Station House Officers from Ramana, Margalla,

Golra, Shalimar and Tarnol police stations conducted search operations in Merabadi, Sector F-12, Dhoke Paracha, Sector G-11/4, Sector F-10, Sector G-8, Sector G-9 and under construction buildings, as well as plazas there. They succeeded in nabbing 45 suspects who are being investigated further.

OUTLAWS ARRESTED:

Meanwhile, the Islamabad Police have arrested 15 outlaws including seven gamblers from various areas of the city besides recovering a stolen car, laptops, stake money, and looted items, from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday.

On a tip off, the Station house officer from the Nilore police station Inspector Muhammad Aslam, ASI Umer Hayat along with a police team raided the `Darkal’ area and arrested seven gamblers identified as Ejaz, Aqal Hussain, Iftikhar, Jabbar, Abbas, Tanveer and Yasir besides recovering gambling money and tools from their possession.

The Aabpara police team arrested a car lifter Sanaullah red handed and recovered a stolen car from his possession. The police team also arrested an accused called Bilal and recovered 38 bullets of 30 bore pistol from him.

The Kohsar police team arrested an accused Sidra, and recovered a stolen laptop from the culprits’ possession. The CIA police recovered a stolen mobile phone from an accused called Lak Mir Khan while the Sabzi Mandi police arrested two Afghan nationals Mohsin Khan and Gul Khan for their involvement in some theft.

The Bani Gala police arrested two accused Bilal and Noshad for decanting gas in cylinders illegally. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from both.
